Another competition on Gran Canaria is coming to an end, the first PWA wave event of the year is done. I finished up with a 13th place, so that's a fairly solid start to the year.

It's been pretty mental conditions the last week, using 3.7 and 4.0 all the time, some guys even taking 3.4's and smaller!!

We were scoring for the most part 2 waves and 2 jumps in 12 minute heats. I tended to stick with the tweaked pushloop, the table forward and the double forward in the jumps, the waves were super tricky, it's a difficult place to ride at the best of times!

I think we might be on for a super session tomorrow but after that its time to head to Tenerife as we get ready for round 2 of the PWA world tour.
